Brandon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center would like you to meet Reese, our therapy dog. Reese has been with us for over three years now and is an important part of our family.  He is quite the star at Brandon and provides comfort to those who enjoy petting him. Many residents leave their family pets when they have to make the decision to pursue long or short term therapy and Reese fills that void. They enjoy watching all of the shows he puts on!

He is a very smart dog that knows over 30 commands - here is his story:

He was dropped off on the side of the road in a box with his brother.  ARF (Animal Rescue Foundation) fostered Reese until he was 7 months old and that's when I adopted him for the our home at BNRC.  He has had his story told twice on our local cable network and now they are doing another story on him and we feel that we should expand his story to our website. Reese even has his own badge. As you can see from some of the pictures he participates in our Alzheimer's functions as well.
